It looks like Leah Remini is back at CBS full time. Deadline reports the King of Queens star will be a series regular on season two of Kevin Can Wait.
The sitcom revolves around Kevin Gable (Kevin James), a newly retired police officer who lives in Massapequa, New York. The cast also includes Erinn Hayes, Mary-Charles Jones, James DiGiacomo, Taylor Spreitler, Ryan Cartwright, Leonard Earl Howze, Gary Valentine, and Lenny Venito.
Remini recently guest-starred as undercover police officer Vanessa Cellucci on Kevin Can Wait‘s two-part season one finale. The appearance was a reunion for Remini and James, who used to co-star on the CBS sitcom King of Queens.
Now, it looks like that reunion will be long term as Remini will be joining the cast of Kevin Can Wait full time next season. Season two is slated to debut on CBS on September 25th.
