King of the Hill: Season 14? FOX Considering a Revival

King of the Hill TV show on FOX: (canceled or renewed?)

Could King of the Hill be coming back? Deadline reports FOX is interested in reviving the cancelled TV show.

From Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, the animated comedy follows the day-to-day lives of a Texas family that includes propane gas salesman Hank Hill (Mike Judge) lives with his substitute Spanish teacher wife, Peggy (Kathy Najimy); their awkward and non-sports enthusiast 13-year-old son, Bobby (Pamela Adlon); niece and wannabe beautician Luann Platter Kleinschmidt (Brittany Murphy); and Ladybird Hill, Hank’s beloved bloodhound. The show was cancelled in 2009 after 13 seasons.

During this summer’s TCA press conference, FOX chairman Dana Walden revealed the network is in preliminary talks to bring King of the Hill back:

We had a very preliminary conversation. Given what’s going on in the country, (Judge and Daniels) had a point of view about how these characters would respond.”

Walden added that both Daniels and Judge are on board to revive the series; they just need to find time.

What do you think? Are you a fan of King of the Hill? Would you watch a revival?
