Doug and Danny Heffernan are back together. Deadline reports Gary Valentine will reunite with his King of Queens co-star, Kevin James, in the latter’s new CBS comedy.
The King of Queens ran on CBS from 1998 to 2007.
James’ untitled series will follow Kevin, “a newly retired police officer who looks forward to spending more quality time with his wife and three kids — only to discover he faces much tougher challenges at home than he ever did on the streets.”
Valentine will play Kevin’s fireman brother, Kyle. Lenny Venito has also been cast as Kevin’s friend, Duffy.
