Variety reports Tom Cullen will star in Jeremy Renner’s Knightfall TV show on History. Knightfall tells the stories of the elite Crusade warriors, the Knights Templar. Renner will appear in the drama series. He is also executive producing, with creators Don Handfield and Richard Rayner. Production is slated for summer 2016.
According to the report, Cullen has been cast as the lead character, Landry, described as, “…a veteran warrior of the Crusades who becomes the leader of the Templars and serves as the driving force behind their quest to retrieve Christianity’s most prized relic: The Holy Grail.”
