Somebody new is joining the Krypton team. Deadline reports Shaun Sipos will star in the upcoming Syfy TV show.
From Man of Steel writer David S. Goyer, the prequel drama “will follow Superman’s grandfather — whose House of El was ostracized and shamed — as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos.” The show stars Cameron Cuffe as Seg-El and Georgina Campbell as Lyta Zod.
On Krypton, Sipos will play Adam Strange, a human “who finds himself stranded on Krypton as the unlikely mentor to Seg-El, Superman’s grandfather.” The new series is slated to debut on Syfy in 2018.
