Landman is adding to its cast for season three. Michael Kelly is joining the Billy Bob Thornton drama series.
Thornton, Demi Moore, Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, Jacob Lofland, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Mark Collie, Jon Hamm, and Paulina Chávez star in the series, set in the oil industry in West Texas.
Paramount+ shared the following about the casting of Kelly:
“Emmy(R) nominated actor Michael Kelly (Lioness, The Penguin) joins the upcoming third season of the Paramount+ hit series Landman as a series regular.
Kelly will star as ‘William Crockett,’ the leader of the largest oil management firm in the world. He is a titan of industry and everything about him exudes efficiency and money.
Co-created by Oscar(R) nominee Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, and set in the boomtowns of West Texas, Landman is a modern tale of fortune seeking amongst roughnecks and wildcat billionaires – fueling an oil boom so big it’s reshaping the climate, the economy and geopolitics.
The series stars Oscar(R) winner Billy Bob Thornton, Oscar(R) nominee Demi Moore, Oscar(R) nominee Andy Garcia, Ali Larter and Oscar(R) nominee Sam Elliott. Additional cast includes Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan and Colm Feore.”
The premiere date for season three will be announced later.
