Larry King Live: CNN Show May Continue Throughout 2010

At the end of June, Larry King announced that he was retiring his nightly talk show, Larry King Live. The plan was supposedly for him to sign off in September.

Now, it appears that CNN wants him to stay on a bit longer, until the end of the year. According to the New York Post, Piers Morgan is having a hard time obtaining a work visa. Morgan is a British journalist, judge of America’s Got Talent, and King’s supposed replacement.

As a British citizen, Morgan needs a special visa to be able to work in the US full-time. According to experts, those are getting harder to obtain, especially in a speedy manner.

King, who’s made it clear that Morgan wouldn’t be his first choice as a replacement, is reportedly pleased about the opportunity to extend Larry King Live for a bit longer.

What do you think? Do you think Piers Morgan would be a good replacement for Larry King?
