Law & Order: SVU will return to NBC next season for its 18th season, and the series will now have a new man in charge. Warren Leight has been in charge of running the show since 2011, but he has departed the series, according to TV Insider.
The new man in charge of the drama is Rick Eid. He served as co-executive producer on Law & Order. Dick Wolf released a statement about Eid’s return to the franchise. He said:
“I’m extremely pleased that Rick had decided to rejoin the family and hope that he will be here for years to come.”
