NBC has found their Erik Menendez. TVLine reports Gus Halper has been cast in the network’s upcoming TV series Law & Order: True Crime.
Season one of the anthology drama will center “on Lyle and Erik Menendez, brothers who were convicted in 1996 of murdering their parents and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.”
Halper joins fellow castmember Edie Falco, who will play defense attorney Leslie Abramson on Law & Order: True Crime. NBC has not yet announced a premiere date for the series.
