Law & Order: True Crime will bring to life the story of the Menendez brothers. The pair earned nationwide attention for their trial after the brutal murder of their parents.
NBC plans to air an eight-part series that will dramatize the events of the trial. The role of Lyle Menendez has now been cast. The Hollywood Reporter revealed that a virtual newcomer has been cast in the role.
Miles Gaston Villanueva will play the role of Lyle. He has appeared on Jane the Virgin, Young & the Restless, and Days of Our Lives.
Edie Falco and Gus Halper have already been cast on the series. Halper will play the younger Menendez brother, Erik, on the series.
This series is a part of NBC’s fall 2017 line-up. A preview was released during NBC’s upfronts.
