Legion: Season Four? Marvel TV Boss Open to More of the FX Series

Legion TV show on FX: season 3 renewal

Will there be more seasons of Legion? Recently, Marvel TV boss Jeph Loeb spoke with Deadline about the future of the TV show.

The sci-fi drama centers on X-Men character David Haller (Dan Stevens), the mutant son of Professor Charles Xavier who possesses incredible supernatural powers. The cast also includes Rachel Keller, Aubrey Plaza, Bill Irwin, David Negahban, Jemaine Clement, Jeremie Harris, Amber Midthunder, Hamish Linklater, and Jean Smart.

Even though FX announced Legion will end after its third season, Loeb revealed Marvel is open to reviving Legion in the future. The series airs tonight, August 12th, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

From Loeb:

It’s a remarkable show created and visualized by an extraordinary filmmaker. Noah carried this from the start — told us how he wanted the show to begin and how he wanted it to end — and we’ve respected that. Having FX as our partner made it very exciting as well from both a creative and marketing stand point.

As to the future, that world and those characters will always be there. It’s our hope that Noah will want to return to them is any capacity he thinks is worth telling. FX remains a huge priority for us because we can tell those unexpected stories there and John Landgraf is something of a visionary himself. They “get” us and we “get” them. We like all of that.”

What do you think? Are you a fan of Legion? Do you want more seasons?
