The comedy series follows four branches of the Short family tree. The cast includes Dianne Wiest, James Brolin, Zoe Lister-Jones, Colin Hanks, Angelique Cabral, Thomas Sadoski, Betsy Brandt, Dan Bakkedahl, Niall Cunningham, Holly J. Barrett, Giselle Eisenberg, and Hunter King.
Season four of Life in Pieces debuts on CBS on April 18th at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT.

CBS announced today that the fourth season of comedy series LIFE IN PIECES will premiere with two original episodes, Thursday, April 18 (8:30-9:00 and 9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. On April 25, LIFE IN PIECES will begin airing in its regular time period on Thursdays at 9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT. This season, the Short family welcomes a few new family members and weathers an unexpected health crisis, plus some long-hidden secrets are revealed in an unexpected way.
LIFE IN PIECES is a comedy about one big happy family and their sometimes awkward, often hilarious and ultimately beautiful milestone moments as told by its various members. As the family’s lives unfold in four short stories each week, they try to savor these little pieces of time that flash by but stay with you forever, because these moments add up to what life’s all about.
The multi-generational comedy was the most-watched program in its 9:30 PM time period on CBS’ dominant Thursday last season, and ranks as one of the top 10 comedies on broadcast television.
