Molly Shannon is heading to CBS. Variety reports the SNL alum will guest star on season two of Life in Pieces.
The sitcom revolves around four branches of the Short family tree and their sometimes awkward, funny, and touching milestones. The cast includes James Brolin, Dianne Wiest, Thomas Sadoski, Angelique Cabral, Colin Hanks, and Zoe Lister-Jones.
Shannon will play “Allie, a private chef who is hired by Jen (Zoe Lister-Jones) and Greg (Colin Hanks) to cook them a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner, but when she has too much to drink, everything goes haywire.”
Though the premiere date hasn’t been announced, the episode will air in February.
