Lin Manuel Miranda isn’t the only Hamilton star working with Disney. TVInsider reports Renée Elise Goldsberry will guest star on the new season of Disney Junior’s The Lion Guard.
Based on The Lion King, the animated series follows the adventures of Kion, the son of Nala and Simba, as he and his friends defend the Pride Lands.
Goldsberry, who played Nala in The Lion King on Broadway, will voice “Dhahabu, an extremely rare golden zebra (yes, she sings!) in a Season 2 episode in which the Pride Lands have been hit by a devastating drought.”
A premiere date for season two of The Lion Guard has not yet been announced.
