Little Critter is coming to the small screen. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the children’s book series is being developed as an animated TV show.
Written by Mercer Mayer, the popular books follow the adventures of a young, rodent-like creature and his family and friends in Critterville. The character first appeared in the 1975 book Just For You and has since been featured in more than 40 publications.
Nine Story Media Group is developing the TV series and is planning to produce around 40 half-hour episodes.
