FOX is going to college. According to Deadline, the network has just bought a new college-set family comedy called Live & Learn.
The series comes from Mike & Molly writer Crystal Jenkins.
The single-camera comedy will follow “Sydney Mitchell, a suburban freshman who impulsively enrolls in Owen College, a fictional black college in Atlanta, where her long-lost father teaches.” While there, she bonds with her dad “while trying to gain the sense of cultural identity she lacked her entire life.”
Will Packer and Tim Story, who have previously worked on the Think Like A Man films, are set to produce and direct, respectively.
Earlier this year, FOX announced they will also be producing a Think Like A Man series with the pair.
