Lizzie McGuire is not just bringing back Hilary Duff for the revival series. Her family is coming back too. Hallie Todd, Robert Carradine, and Jake Thomas were all back on set with Duff on Thursday for a script reading.
Duff shared a photo of herself with her co-stars on Instagram on Thursday afternoon.
The Lizzie McGuire revival series will air on Disney+. The series picks up the action as McGuire turns 30. Entertainment Weekly revealed the following about the plot of the series:
“She seemingly has it all — her dream job as an assistant to a fancy New York City decorator, her dream guy, and a picturesque Brooklyn apartment — but things aren’t always as they seem. With a little help from her friends, her loving family, and her 13-year-old alter-ego in animated form, Lizzie navigates the ups and downs of adulthood.”
A premiere date for the Lizzie McGuire revival has not yet been set.
