Get ready for Log Cabin Fever. The new series will focus on building houses out of reclaimed wood, and it will premiere later this month.

“Expert craftsman Charlie Norman rebuilds the American dream one log cabin at a time on Great American Country’s new series Log Cabin Fever, premiering Tuesday, Nov. 21, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Throughout the six-episode run, Log Cabin Fever follows Charlie and his crew of skilled tradesman as they carefully deconstruct antique log cabins and barns and then use the salvaged beams to build new homes in North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
“We build log cabins but we’re doing much more than that,” said Charlie. “We’re building families a home they can enjoy forever.”
In the premiere episode, Charlie and his team are tasked with building a single-room cabin with a spectacular view of the North Carolina highlands. After gathering chestnut beams from a historic cabin dating back to the times of Daniel Boone, the men struggle to transport the materials to the build site on the treacherous mountainside roads and battle unpredictable weather in order to construct this dream mountain retreat.
