Loki is returning to Disney+ for its second season just a little earlier than initially announced. The Marvel series, written by Eric Martin, will be available the evening of Thursday, October 5th. The series was initially slated for release in the early morning hours of October 6th.

Starring Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Tara Strong, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil Ellice, Jonathan Majors, Ke Huy Quan, and Owen Wilson, the series follows a variation of Loki (Hiddleston) from the Marvel films as he travels with the Time Variance Authority.

Season two picks up in the aftermath of the first season’s finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15 and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose.

Disney+ released a new preview of the series. Check that out below.
