There’s a mystery afoot in the new teasers released for BBC America’s original drama London Spy.
The mini-series premieres on January 21st, at 10 p.m.
Written by Tom Rob Smith, the spy thriller stars Ben Whishaw as Danny Holt, a party boy who meets a mysterious stranger named Alex (Edward Holcroft). The two begin a romance until one day, Alex disappears. Along with his mentor and friend, Scottie (Jim Broadbent), Danny finds out Alex was actually an spy for the British intelligence agency MI6. But what happened to him?
The five-part series also stars Charlotte Rampling and Mark Gatiss.
