(New York, NY) The force is strong on Animal Planet with two of the network’s finest law enforcement series premiering this quarter. Audiences will be introduced to New Hampshire’s Conservation Officers in all-new series NORTH WOODS LAW: NEW HAMPSHIRE which premieres Sunday, March 5 at 9PM. LONE STAR LAW returns for a second season full of exciting stories featuring the Texas Game Wardens beginning Sunday Feb. 19 at 10PM.
From the White Mountains of the North East, to the rocky shores of the Atlantic Ocean, all-new series NORTH WOODS LAW: NEW HAMPSHIRE features the Conservation Officers of New Hampshire Fish and Game who work tirelessly to preserve and protect the natural resources of the Granite State. New Hampshire’s wild and rugged landscape makes the state a premiere destination for outdoorsmen and women and makes the work of Conservation Officers diverse and demanding. They are tasked with enforcing all laws, rules and regulations pertaining to the state’s fish, wildlife, recreational vehicles, and marine resources and they prosecute all of their own cases involving offenders of wildlife law. Whether they’re assisting biologists in managing the state’s wildlife, patrolling backcountry roads during hunting season or conducting search and rescue operations on windswept mountains and roaring rivers, every day presents a new challenge in the Live Free or Die state.
LONE STAR LAW is back for a new season, following Texas Game Wardens as they preserve and protect the natural resources of Texas. The game wardens patrol the largest state in the lower 48 by truck, boat and plane, searching for lost hunters, rescuing injured bald eagles, investigating wildlife trafficking, recovering drowning victims, catching illegal night hunters, and more. From wrestling alligators in the east and checking commercial fishermen in the Gulf, to catching poachers taking more than their fair share of dove, deer, pronghorn and duck, they’re always on the move.
NORTH WOODS LAW: NEW HAMPSHIRE is produced for Animal Planet by Engel Entertainment where Steven Engel and Ben Shank serve as executive producers. For Animal Planet Patrick Keegan serves as supervising producer with Meredith Russell as associate producer.
