Longmire is returning to Netflix with its fifth season, and there is a new man joining the action next season. According to TV Line, Dylan Walsh is joining the series.
The news outlet shared the following about his role:
“Walsh has landed the recurring role of Shane Muldoon, who is described in the breakdowns as (the yet-to-be-cast) Eddie Heffernan’s criminal boss, though you’d never suspect it from his curated demeanor and calm, assertive intelligence. ‘Whether fly fishing or cracking down on loose elements of his criminal enterprise, there’s an ominous edge to Shane’s charming manners,’ reads the descrip.”
A previous TV Line report teased more about the new criminal element joining the series next season. Walsh seems to be a part of that criminal element. TV Line teased that the series is “currently casting some Irish crime family members whom Walt will take an interest in with regards to a drugs-related murder.”
