“It’s a magical time.” HBO has released the first trailer for their upcoming follow-up movie to the cancelled series Looking.
The series starred Jonathan Groff, Frankie J. Alvarez, and Murray Bartlett as three best friends looking for love within the San Francisco gay community. It was cancelled in 2015 after two seasons.
Looking: The Movie will see Patrick (Groff) returning to San Francisco after a year of living in Denver. While there, he celebrates the wedding of old friends and “must face the unresolved relationships he left behind and make difficult choices about what’s truly important to him.”
Looking: The Movie premieres on July 23rd at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
