Lost: Michael Emerson Talks About Doing Another Series with Terry O’Quinn

Lost TV show on ABC: Terry O'Quinn Michael Emerson.

Lost/ABC.

In case you haven’t yet watched, we won’t spoil you for the Person of Interest TV series finale, which aired last night on CBS. Since that drama show has drawn to a close, what will star Michael Emerson do next?

Fans of Lost would still love to see Emerson (Ben Linus) work with Terry O’Quinn (John Locke) again. TV Line‘s Matt Webb Mitovich asked Emerson if the time was right for the two work together on a new project.

From TV Line:

TVLINE | You’re available again, and I think Terry O’Quinn is available now…? I know your pilot Odd Jobs didn’t pan out, but might you two finally get together for a new show?

We’re always talking about stuff, but I think he’s just about to begin shooting that [Amazon] series Patriot, where he plays the paterfamilias of this wacky, crooked political family. But I think they’d only do 10 episodes, because they’re sensible.

Ah well, maybe Emerson can turn up on Patriot, provided it is shooting in the lower 48 states. Here is more on the new series, from Amazon:

Patriot (TV series)

Intelligence officer John Tavner’s latest assignment, to prevent Iran from going nuclear, requires him to forgo all safety nets and assume a “non-official cover” as a mid-level employee at a Midwestern industrial piping firm. A bout with PTSD, the government’s incompetence, and the intricacies of keeping his day job cause a barrage of ever-escalating fiascos that jeopardize the mission.

The Patriot TV show cast also includes: Terry O’Quinn, Michael Chernus, Kathleen Munroe, Aliette Opheim, and Kurtwood Smith.  Patriot is written and directed by Steven Conrad and executive produced by Conrad, Gil Bellows, Glen Ficarra, Charlie Gogolak, and John Requa.

What do you think? Would you like to see Terry O’Quinn and Michael Emerson work together, again? What kind of TV show would you like to see them do?
