The Loud House: Series Creator Suspended Over Sexual Harassment Allegations

The Loud House TV show on Nickelodeon: season 3 renewal. The Loud House renewed for season 3 on Nickelodeon (canceled or renewed?)

Nickelodeon has been hit by a major scandal. Deadline reports the creator of The Loud House, Chris Savino, has been suspended over sexual harassment allegations.

The animated comedy centers on Lincoln Loud, the middle child of a large family with 10 other siblings. The series is currently airing its second season and has already been renewed for a third.

Per Cartoon Brew, at least 12 women have accused Savino of various acts of sexual harassment, including “unwanted sexual advances and threats of blacklisting after relationships with co-workers had ended.” As a result, Nickelodeon‘s parent company Viacom has suspended Savino and released the following statement:

Viacom is committed to the safety and well-being of our employees, and to fostering a workplace free from harassment. As a matter of policy, we do not comment on specific employee matters, but we take all allegations of this nature very seriously, investigate them thoroughly and take any necessary actions as a result.”

What do you think? Have you seen The Loud House? Are you glad Viacom is taking measures to stop sexual harassment in the workplace?
