Kevin Bacon may soon be back on the small screen – at least on Amazon. The actor has been cast as the lead in a new comedy pilot for the online retailer’s streaming service called I Love Dick. The actor was last seen on The Following.
TV Line revealed the following about the series:
“The potential series follows a struggling married couple in Texas and their mutual obsession with an off-putting but charismatic professor (played by Bacon). Through that fixation, failing wife and independent filmmaker Chris goes on a journey of self-discovery and eventually transformative power.”
The comedy was created by the same person behind another Amazon series, Transparent. Kathryn Hahn from the series has been in the role of the wife. Her husband has not yet been cast.
