Love Thy Neighbor: Season Four Ratings

Last season, the ratings for Tyler Perry’s Love Thy Neighbor TV show dropped off by nearly 26% in the demo and over 19% in terms of total audience size. Fans don’t have to spend the fourth season wondering if Love Thy Neighbor will be cancelled or renewed for season five, though. OWN previously announced that season four would be the final installment of this family comedy. Will the numbers go up this time around?

Airing on the OWN cable channel, Tyler Perry’s Love Thy Neighbor stars Patrice Lovely, Palmer Williams Jr., Kendra C. Johnson, Andre Hall, Jonathan Chase, Darmirra Brunson, and Tony Grant. The sitcom centers on The Love Train Diner, an old locomotive car that’s been converted to a family-run eatery. The menu features the recipes of family matriarch Hattie Mae Love (Lovely). Hattie Mae’s hands are full, managing both her customers and family drama, too.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival.
