TV show description:
Created by Tyler Perry, this sitcom is set at The Love Train Diner. It’s an old locomotive car that’s been converted to a family run diner. The menu is filled with all of owner Hattie Mae’s old recipes.
Feisty family matriarch Hattie Mae Love (Patrice Lovely) has her hands full — not only managing her customers but her family drama, too. Her daughter Linda (Kendra C. Johnson), recently moved into her mama Hattie’s home after finally dumping her philandering husband.
Linda’s son Danny (Andre Hall) is a recent college grad and a go-getter. He moves into a bachelor pad with his immature best friend, Sam (Jonathan Chase), and he lands a job at a hot internet design firm called Beagal and Steve. Danny quickly establishes himself as a rising star. Unfortunately, he can be distracted by Sam’s hard-partying ways and their beautiful co-workers — Marianna (Zulay Henao) and eccentric Drew (Darmirra Brunson).
Uncle Floyd (Palmer Williams) is an ever-present thorn in the Love family’s side. Like old luggage, they can never seem to get rid of him.
