TV show description:
Louie (Louise C.K.) works part-time at the local muffler shop and spends the rest of his time caring for his four-year old daughter Lucy (Kelly Gould).
His wife Kim (Pamela Adlon) is a full-time registered nurse who provides most of the family’s financial support and runs the household. The untraditional arrangement can be tricky but the Louie and Kim always work it out.
Their best friends are Mike (Mike Hagerty) and Tina (Laura Kightlinger) who have a more traditional relationship and several kids from past and present marriages. African-American couple Walter (Jerry Minor) and Ellen (Kim Hawthorne) live across the hall with their daughter Lisa (Blesst Bowden) and live a seemingly idyllic life. Kim’s eccentric brother Jerry (Rick Shapiro) lives in the apartment building as does Louie’s friend Rich (Jim Norton) who makes his living via shady means and still lives with his mother.
