A king is coming to The Magicians. Deadline reports Leonard Roberts has joined season two of the Syfy series.
Based on the novels by Lev Grossman, the supernatural drama follows the students at the Brakebills University for students of magical ability. The cast includes Jason Ralph, Stella Maeve, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Hale Appleton, Arjun Gupta, Summer Bishil, and Rick Worthy.
In season two, Roberts will play “King Idri of Loria, a skilled swordfighter who is confident in his leadership and places great value upon his kingly duty.”
