Felicia Day is heading to Syfy. Nerdist reports the Mystery Science Theater 3000 star has joined season three of The Magicians.
Based on the novels by Lev Grossman, the supernatural drama follows the students of Brakebills University, a school for students of magical ability. The cast includes Jason Ralph, Stella Maeve, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Arjun Gupta, Hale Appleton, Summer Bishil, Jade Tailor, and Rick Worthy.
On The Magicians, Day will be playing Poppy, a character from the novels who may hold the key to the future of magic. Season three is slated to premiere on Syfy in January.
