Could Malcolm in the Middle return? In a recent interview with E! News, star Bryan Cranston said he’s interested in a reunion for the FOX sitcom.

Created by Linwood Boomer, Malcolm in the Middle followed middle child Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) and his eccentric family. The cast also included Jane Kaczmarek, Justin Berfield, Erik Per Sullivan, and Cranston as patriarch Hal. The show ended in 2006 after seven seasons.

In the interview, Cranston said he hopes a reunion happens soon because he misses his fellow castmates:

I sure hope so. I really do, for no other reason than that I miss those people like crazy and I stay in touch with them. The boys are doing great and Jane [Kaczmarek] is doing wonderfully and I’d love to.”

He added they may be the possibility of a revival happening:

There’s a possibility we want to start talking about the possibility of putting together a story that makes sense about that family 10 years or 12 years later.”

What do you think? Did you watch Malcolm in the Middle? Would you like to see a reunion?
