Marvel is expanding. Variety reports the media juggernaut will launch a new animated series franchise called Marvel Rising.
The multi-platform project will feature “the next generation of Marvel heroes” in a series of digital shorts and films. Characters include Spider-Gwen (aka Ghost-Spider), Squirrel Girl, Patriot, Ms. Marvel, Quake, Inferno, and America Chavez.
Marvel Rising is slated to launch in 2018.
