Marvel’s Agent Carter is still waiting for word of its fate. The ABC series ended its second season weeks ago, and there is no word from the network on season three. Back in March, Michele Fazekas even said that the chances for renewal were “bad.”
Now, Digital Spy is reporting that ABC is unlikely to renew the series, and Marvel’s Most Wanted might be in jeopardy of even beginning. Marvel fans still have Agents of SHIELD on ABC, and Marvel is alive and well on Netflix too.
Agent Carter has been a fan favorite though. Marvel fans loved the character from the films with Captain America, and a new Captain America film is at theaters today.
A renewal would be surprising because of the low ratings. However, Hayley Atwell fans may still see her on ABC if her Marvel’s Agent Carter is cancelled. Variety reported that her pilot, Conviction, has positive buzz. ABC is likely to pick up that series.
