Could we be getting an Agent Carter movie? Recently, star Hayley Atwell teased possible plans for the cancelled ABC series, TVGuide reports.
Last month, the network cancelled the Marvel series after two seasons. Since then, fans have rallied for a third season, with stars saying they’re completely on board for more.
At a recent fan conference, Atwell said she is “100 percent” interested in reprising her role as Peggy Carter, in either a new season or a possible movie:
I love Peggy. I love the people that were working on this project together. The fans are incredibly warm and welcoming. And it would be an absolute privilege and honor to bring her back for the fans.”
She also teased some season three plans, if the show does continue:
There was talk of Season 3 of going further back into her past. So the showrunners were talking about a possible kind of twist, I suppose, into something to do with the family. … They suggested there would be more to do with my brother. So that’s all I can say.”
