Marvel’s Agent Carter: Stars Want to Make Season Three of Cancelled Series

Marvel's Agent Carter TV show on ABC: season 2 (canceled or renewed?); could Agent Peggy Carter go to Marvel's Agents of SHIELD?

Is there hope for another season of Marvel’s Agent Carter? The stars of the cancelled ABC series have recently said they’re interested in a third season, both Radio Times and Digital Spy report.

Earlier this month, ABC cancelled the Marvel drama after two seasons. The show starred Hayley Atwell, James D’Arcy,Enver Gjokaj, Chad Michael Murray, Wynn Everett, and Reggie Austin.

When asked at a recent event whether she’d do another season of Agent Carter on Netflix, Atwell said she’s on board completely:

Yes, 100%. I love Peggy. I love the people working on this project. A privilege and an honour to bring her back to the fans.”

Star Dominic Cooper, who played Howard Stark on the ABC series, also said he’s game for another season:

The fact that people have got behind it and want to see it return means a huge amount to Hayley [Atwell] and James [D’Arcy]. I’m sure there’s people talking about it now. What’s wonderful about Amazon and other streaming sites, whereas that might have been the end of the road completely, now there’s hope that it might not be.”
