Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD: Could Ghost Rider Get a Netflix Series?

Marvel's Agents of SHIELD TV show on ABC

Is Ghost Rider getting his own spin-off? Recently, star Gabriel Luna spoke with ComicBook.com about the future of his Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD character.

Luna’s Ghost Rider (aka Robbie Reyes) joined the ABC series at the start of its current fourth season. He joins regular cast members Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, and Elizabeth Henstridge.

Since the character’s debut, fans have been demanding Ghost Rider get his own spin-off movie and/or TV series. Luna says both those options are a very real possibility:

I don’t have a preference. People talk about ‘Ah man he’d be great as a feature,’ which is [an] idea too… It could be in the cinema, it could live on Netflix, whatever it is. … It’s been talked about, there’s definitely deals in place for that potential. But I just take it one day at a time. I have so much fun now I just want to make sure I get these episodes right. If they throw more episodes on my plate, I will do my best to do well with those stories as well.”

What do you think? Do you watch Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD? Would you watch a Ghost Rider spin-off series or movie?
