The Defenders have a leader, finally. Marvel has announced that Daredevil showrunners Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez will also helm Netflix’s upcoming crossover series, Marvel’s The Defenders.
The limited series will combine characters from all four of Netflix’s Marvel series: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist.
From Petrie and Ramirez:
This is the big one. Four amazing casts, four amazing series, now all in one amazing story. We are thrilled at the opportunity to deliver the show that both we and the fans have been waiting for.”
Earlier, Charlie Cox (Daredevil) revealed The Defenders begins shooting later this year.
