Is Marvel’s The Punisher coming sooner than expected? Comic Book Movie reports Netflix’ mobile app may have revealed new details about the upcoming series.
The superhero drama will star Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, AKA The Punisher, a vigilante who first appeared in season two of Marvel’s Daredevil.
On Netflix’s mobile app, it says The Punisher will premiere in 2017. Here’s the app’s description:
After the murder of his family, Frank Castle is both haunted and hunted. In the criminal underworld, he’ll become known as The Punisher.”
Netflix has not yet confirmed the new details.
