From Rookie Blue to code blue. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Canada’s Global Television network has picked up a new medical series titled Mary Kills People.
The drama comes from Rookie Blue creator and showrunner Tassie Cameron and writer Tara Armstrong.
Mary Kills People will center on Dr. Mary Harris, a single mother who works in the ER and also assists terminally ill patients who want to die on their own terms.
The series begins shooting in Toronto this summer and is set to premiere in January 2017.
