Master of None: Aziz Ansari Figuring Out Season Two

Master of None TV show on Netflix (canceled or renewed?)

What’s up next for the Master of None? In a recent interview with Digital Spy, series creator and star Aziz Ansari spoke about his recently released Netflix series and what he has planned next.

Master of None debuted on November 6th.

Speaking to Digital Spy, Ansari said that a second season may be a little ways away.

“I think I need a little time to develop a bunch of ideas,” he said, “cause we were so proud of the first season and all the stuff we were able to address … so I think we need time to kind of develop a bunch of ideas that are as rich and interesting as what we did in season one.”

Over the course of its 10 episodes, the first season dealt with several issues like racism in the entertainment industry, immigrant parents, and the struggles of long-term relationships.

Recently, Ansari was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Comedy for his role in Master of None.

What do you think? Are you a fan of Master of None? What would you like to see happen in a second season?
