MasterChef Junior is currently airing its season on FOX, but after the series ends its season – it will lose one of its own.
Deadline reported on Friday that Graham Elliot is leaving the MasterChef franchise, which includes both MasterChef and MasterChef Junior.
Elliot spoke about his decision to leave MasterChef. He said:
“It has been an awesome experience to be part of the MasterChef family. I learned so much from the people I got to work with and it has been a true honor to share my love of cooking with the audiences who have allowed me into their homes over the last six years.”
FOX renewed MasterChef for a seventh season back in July. The series will return this summer without Elliot.
