Mayans MC has some new company. Deadline reports JD Pardo and John Ortiz have joined FX’s Sons of Anarchy spin-off pilot.
From Kurt Sutter and Clayton Cardenas, the drama will “focus on the struggles of Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes, a prospect in the Mayan MC charter on the California/Mexico border.” The cast also includes Edward James Olmos and Clayton Cardenas.
Pardo will play lead character EZ Reyes, “the gifted son of a proud Latino family, whose American dream was snuffed out by cartel violence.” Meanwhile, Ortiz has been cast as “Esai “Taino” Osorio, President of Mayans MC, Santo Padre Charter.”
