Medici: Masters of Florence has some new company. Variety reports Bradley James and Daniel Sharman have joined season two of the Netflix TV show.
The historical drama chronicles the infamous Medicis, one of the most powerful families in Renaissance-era Italy. The season two cast includes Julian Sands, Raul Bova, Sean Bean, Sarah Parish, Alessandra Mastronardi, and Sebastian De Souza.
On Medici: Masters of Florence, Daniel Sharman will play the lead role, Lorenzo the Magnificent, a major figure in 15th century Florence. Meanwhile, James will play Lorenzo’s brother, Giuliano.
Netflix has not yet announced a premiere date for season two.
