The most important thing to the CW network is for people to watch the show on their television sets while it’s being broadcast. Downloading, watching online, or watching on your DVR days later is all very nice but it really doesn’t help a show’s ratings.
If you like the new Melrose Place and want to see it continue, there are a few things you can do to help.
- Watch the show each week, preferably live, and encourage others to do the same. You might know a Nielsen family and not know it.
- Talk about the show with others; at school, at work, online, or wherever. Creating a buzz about a show gets people interested and invested in watching.
- Sign the petition below and encourage others to do the same.
- Write to the network. Be respectful. Everyone responds better to courtesy. Tell them how much you enjoy the show, that you’ve signed the petition, and that you want to see it continue. Bring it back. The original Melrose took a season or two to hit its stride. Melrose 2.0 was just getting there. Try putting it back on Fox. That tactic alone will get publicity.

This show is amazing ! Good actors, great concept and storyline ! I am sure if the CW or any TV network that decides to bring it back creates some awareness of the show coming back on air it will have a lot more viewers!

I honestly enjoyed this show! I spent and entire day watching season one on Netflix non-stop! Me and my roommate was deeply saddened that as of now there is no season two. Speaking for myself... knowing that the lack of viewers caused the show's cancellation i'm pretty sure it was a lack of awareness. It's nearly the end of 2011 and i'm just becoming aware of "Melrose Place" sadly to say. However I strongly believe there should be another season. To whomever is responsible for the cancellation, if you care about viewers you would consider airing a Season 2 and so on. Its unlikey for these types of shows nowadays.. We're flooded by Basketball Wives, Football Wives, Baseball Wives, & every other reality show out there. Taken into consideration there's not one African American actor on this show BUT as one I'm still interested as if any of that even mattered! I love the cast & hope for a season 2!
