Melrose Place: There’s a Big Original Show Reunion Coming

Tonight, Heather Locklear’s Amanda returns to Melrose Place. The actress helped to make the original Melrose Place a big success and producers are hoping that lightning will strike again and Locklear can help save the remake. As fun as this return is for fans of the original series, the producers have something even better for the die-hard fans.

Thomas “Michael” Calabro has been appearing regularly since the start of the series. He and Locklear are already set to be in the show for the rest of the season. Daphne “Jo” Zuniga and Josie “Jane” Bissett have each appeared in previous episodes. Overall, the interaction between the original show castmembers has been minimal.

Now, Us has learned that an upcoming scene will reunite Zuniga, Bissett, Calabro, and Locklear together onscreen. What’s more, they’ll be standing in the courtyard of the famous apartment complex.

Perhaps they’ll be talking about dearly departed Sydney Andrews (Laura Leighton) and her murderer(s)? The episode’s is expected to air early next year and the murder mystery is set to be solved before the end of December.

The reunion scene hasn’t been shot yet but, at Sunday’s Celebrity Green Lounge event in Santa Monica, Zuniga told Us that she and her old Melrose castmates “will be working together — I am really looking forward to that a lot!”
