TV show description:
A supernatural drama based on the book series of the same name, from True Blood author Charlaine Harris, the Midnight, Texas TV show plays out in a community which is located on the very veil between Earth and Hell. The story centers on the locals — human or otherwise — who populate this small town.

A charismatic man with a sarcastic wit and remarkable abilities, Manfred Bernardo (Arnaud) is a psychic medium who finds refuge in Midnight. He has built a circle of both human and supernatural allies. He routinely communicates with his deceased grandmother, Xylda (Camp).

Bobo Winthrop (Bruce) owns the local pawnshop. Although his past is shrouded in secrecy, Bobo is loyal to his neighbors, both human and supernatural.

A witch, Fiji Cavanaugh (Fitz-Henley) owns The Inquiring Mind, a Wiccan shop. She adores Mr. Snuggly (Joe Smith), her snarky cat, and carries a torch for Bobo.

Despite her name, which might lead people to believe she is harmless, Olivia Charity (Kebbel) is an assassin skilled in hand-to-hand combat. Her weapons collection is vast.

Olivia is deeply connected to Lemuel Bridger (Mensah), a sage and powerful vampire. He covers the night shift at Bobo’s shop, and is one of Midnight’s senior residents.

Joe Strong (Lewis) is an angel who has been on earth for thousands of years, and lives in Midnight with his husband, Chuy (Bernardo Saracino). Joe’s neighbors don’t realize he is an angel. He bides his time, just waiting for “the One” who can save Midnight from an extremely evil threat.

An aspiring writer involved with Manfred, Creek Lovell (Ramos) has some big ambitions. Her father, Shawn (Jesser), is overly protective of her, and her younger brother, Connor (John-Paul Howard). Creek is shocked when she learns her family’s secret.

Meanwhile, the reticent Reverend Emilio Sheehan (Vázquez) disappears each month, thanks to the full moon. Normally, though, he busies himself at the Midnight Chapel and Pet Cemetery.

The remote Texas town serves as a haven for those who need to hide from the world at large. The townies have come together to form a sort of chosen family. Together they fend off nosy police officers, vicious biker gangs, and their own dark pasts.

In Midnight, nothing is what it seems. Here, only outsiders belong, and normality is just plain weird.

Series Finale:
Episode #22 — Yasss, Queen
With dark witches ruling Midnight — now known as Patience, Texas — the surviving Midnighters must band together in one final, desperate attempt to save their town.
First aired: December 28, 2018.
