Woody Allen has found new muses. Deadline reports the filmmaker has cast Miley Cyrus and Elaine May in his new series for Amazon.
Little else is known about the series other than it takes place in the 1960s and will feature six half-hour episodes. Allen has written the series and will also direct. Filming begins in March.
Elaine May, a veteran of film and comedy, worked with Allen on the 2000 film Small Time Crooks. It was her last starring role. Cyrus has never worked with Allen until now.
