The Missing: Season Two Ratings

Starz and BBC in the UK co-produce The Missing TV series. Last season, the series drew low ratings for Starz but opted to co-produce season two anyway. This time around, they’re making the whole second season available for streaming after only one episode has aired on regular television. Do the regular ratings matter? Will this drama return for a third season? Cancelled? Stay tuned.

Season two of The Missing TV show on Starz stars Tchéky Karyo, David Morrissey, Keeley Hawes, Jake Davies, Abigail Hardingham, Laura Fraser, and Roger Allam. The story begins as a young British woman named Alice Webster (Hardingham) stumbles through the streets of her hometown in Germany and collapses. She has been missing for 11 years and her return sends shockwaves through the small community of Eckhausen, especially when it is revealed that she may hold clues to the whereabouts of another missing girl. Told simultaneously over three timeframes, the story follows Alice’s family as they are thrown back into a turmoil that threatens to tear them apart at the seams. French detective Julien Baptiste (Karyo) becomes embroiled in the mystery and races across Europe to pursue an old case that he never let die.
