Los Angeles, CA – July 2, 2018 – Known for putting fans at the crossroads of fashion and pop culture, E!’s new Fashion Week exclusive docu-series “Model Squad,” produced by Trooper Entertainment in association with Lionsgate and IMG, follows nine high-profile, in-demand supermodels in the make-or-break fashion industry. Launching in conjunction with the start of New York Fashion Week, where E! is the official multi-platform media partner of New York Fashion Week: The Shows, viewers will get an exclusive look behind the runway with a two-week premiere event beginning Tuesday, September 4th through Friday, September 14th at 8 PM ET/PT.

“Model Squad” follows Daniela Braga, Olivia Culpo, Hannah Ferguson, Ping Hue, Nadine Leopold, Caroline Lowe, Ashley Moore, Shanina Shaik and Devon Windsor as they prepare for the fall fashion season. The “work hard, play hard” fleet of strong, independent and successful models will juggle relationships, friendships and hardships while navigating the cut-throat world of high fashion.

This season, social media influencer and entrepreneur, Olivia Culpo, has her heart set on landing a Sports Illustrated booking, but her spirits are crushed when she has a rocky test shoot with famed photographer, Yu Tsai. Similarly, Caroline Lowestruggles to balance her relationship with her boyfriend and her career when she finds herself in a hotbed of wedding pressure from her boyfriend’s family. Meanwhile, her friend, LA-based model Ashley Moore, decides to make the big move to New York City to be closer to the high-end modeling scene. But after meeting vivacious Brazilian super model Daniela Braga at a casting, Ashley starts second guessing whether she can make it in the big leagues of the Big Apple.

After the craziness of the fall fashion season, Shanina Shaik decides to put together a staycation with the squad to decompress from their hectic schedules, but some of the girls’ personalities clash. High fashion editorial and runway model Hannah Ferguson decides to take a trip to her boyfriend’s home in the Virgin Islands to help with hurricane relief, which affects her more than she expected.

The veteran model of the group, Ping Hue, is getting pressure from her family to change her career path and settle down but she is determined to succeed in her chosen field. Meanwhile, Nadine Leopold’s career is on the rise as she books the runway show of her dreams, but the stakes are higher now that she sits among the industry’s elite.
